Dr. Schaette – a pharmaceutical company – develops, produces and sells products that serve to keep animals and plants healthy.
The spectrum hereby ranges from prophylaxis to therapy for both farm animals and pets.
We are responsible for the German press work around the key subject healthy dog food and advise the company in all means of communication.
1919 marked the founding year of the company when the brothers Adolf and Carl Schaette founded Gebr. Schaette in Munich. In the 1950s, the company introduced numerous veterinary drugs into the market. Since 1961, the GmbH, an SME, is located in Bad Waldsee (Southern Germany). The products of Dr. Schaette are based on natural resources and free of genetic engineered organisms. More than 400 resources are being processed in the form of fresh and dried medical plants and spices, botanical extracts, (essential) oils, vitamins and minerals. They form precious base materials for the products that are manufactured with the latest manufacturing technologies and quality systems directly in Bad Waldsee. The meat used comes exclusively from food-producing animals, the vegetable resources – wherever possible – from organic cultivation. 80 employees are dedicated to the corporate philosophy and to the topic of sustainability. This fact is not only reflected in the products but also in the business management and the noncommercial engagement of the company. Many employees have a share as silent partners in the Dr. Schaette GmbH. For almost 90 years, Dr. Schaette GmbH was a family-run business. To secure the succession, the idea and the sustainable development of the company, in 2007, the shares of the company were conferred upon the WALA group with which a a close economical and ideal bond had been established since the 1970s.

KeepCup is the world’s first barista standard reusable cup designed for espresso coffee. Since it replicates the sizes of disposable cups, it fits under the group heads of espresso machines. For every coffee preference, there is a matching cup size: XS for a quick espresso, L for a delightful latte macchiato. From October 2011, sieben&siebzig is responsible for the brand’s media relations in Germany.
In 2009, with the support of Melbourne-based industrial designers CobaltNiche and graphic designers SouthSouthWest, KeepCup was launched. Its design and manageability follow the style of the disposable cup – for example, the KeepCup replicates their sizes, fitting perfectly under the group heads of espresso machines. Also, the lid and drinking hole remind of the classic take-away cup. But in fact, KeepCup can do much better than its disposable relative: For example, it comes with an insulating silicone band that protects the hands from heat and that can be used for marking the own coffee preferences such as cappuccino or flat white. Also, the drinking hole can be closed with a plug. KeepCup is lightweight, unbreakable, stackable and portable as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. It fits into most car cup holders and many bicycle bottle holders. Its matt plastic surface impresses with a pleasant feel. Optically, too, the colourful KeepCup distinguishes itself from competition. Every KeepCup can be unique: cup colour, lid, plug and insulating band are available in many colours and can be freely combined. For Abigail Forsyth, who owned a flourishing chain of coffee shops in Melbourne’s CBD before becoming CEO of KeepCup, protection of the environment via reduction of plastic waste was a major drive. Abigail continues to push towards this ongoing goal: “If we estimate that 80% of the active users drink 8 takeaway coffees per week, then over a year, KeepCup users will have diverted 300 million disposable cups from landfill. This equates to removing over 4.200 tonnes of disposable cups from the waste stream and saving enough energy to power 5.000 homes for a year. Furthermore, this leaves 70.000 trees left standing in a forest somewhere – that’s a lovely thought“. The cup is made from polypropylene (PP); the lid is made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE); the thermal band is made from silicone; and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for the plug. All used materials are food safe and don’t contain any toxic bisphenol A.

In 2010/2011, Dr.Hauschka continues its cooperation with young designers. After the cooperation with kaviar gauche, the Berlin eco-fashion label Mikenke designed a limited, multifunctional designer piece for the natural cosmetics brand.
During Berlin Fashion Week in January 2011, the fashion accessory was presented to the international fashion press. sieben&siebzig was overall responsible for the idea of designing a hairband, the event as well as the public relations.
On January 20th, 2011 and under the motto „rough meets gentle“, Dr.Hauschka cosmetics presented a multifunctional hair- and wristband made of organic salmonleather to the international fashion press. The accessory is the result of the cooperation with the designer duo Mikenke. Once more, Dr.Hauschka launches a limited fashion accessory, that creates a bridge between cosmetics and fashion. The presentation was rounded off by the photo exhibition of the Berlin photographer Constantin Falk, who pointed out the diversity of the salmonleather accessory as hair ornament and wristband. Between fashion week appointments, guests had the opportunity to freshen up in the Dr.Hauschka beauty lounge and get to know the new cosmetic line „lavender dreams“. The cooperation combines Mikenke‘s high standards in design with the philosophy of Dr.Hauschka cosmetics. The combination of an innovative but at the same time traditional material with timeless and emancipated design, is its result. As of March 2011, the fashion accessory will be available at selected department stores and concept stores. The proceeds to go the eurythmics project „What moves you?“ – which takes place in summer 2012 in Berlin.

The Body&SoulCare product line, consisting of seven precious bath and shower gels, soaps and body oils with natural essential oils is based on the Indian chacras theory and was developed together with the German company „Klar Seifen“. For 170 years quality, resource-saving production and the usage of organic cultivated oils have been top priority for „Klar Seifen“. Kim Steeb has already been searching for additional matching cooperation partners, new production methods and unconventional materials. When it begins in us it begins in others.

For our client Lebenslust GmbH from Cologne we conceptualised the public relations campaign „Ambassadors of Love“. Ambassadors such as Cosma Shiva Hagen from Hamburg and Nina Queer from Berlin intend to set positive signals for fairtrade condoms. We will organize the campaign from A to Z.
For „Ambassadors of Love“ cooperations with local scene clubs are realised exclusively in 20 German cities, starting with Cosma Shiva Hagen's sichtbar in Hamburg, aswell as Nina Queer's „Bar zum schmutzigen Hobby“ in Berlin. HIV campaigns, simpathetically and full of relish on the spot. The Lümmeltüten are available at the bar just in case for a little donation for the local AIDS prevention. Lebenslust head Oliver Gothe intends to provide information in order to reach the club scene directly. Although the German HIV prevention worked successfully and still does - especially an increasing number of young people takes bigger risks, particularly after drinking alcohol.
Lümmeltüten are the only condoms to use with a good conscience, they are the essence of safer sex and produced sustainably and fair traded – unique in Germany.
The FairDeal Trading organization controls the ecological rubber production value chain and provides social working conditions in order to exclude widespread child labour. Climate protection projects have helped to offset the 400 million tons of CO2 condom production emissions per year since August 2009.

After studying architecture and fashion design and spending several years in New York City, the designer Kasia Ehrhardt moved to Berlin and founded KSIA in 2010. The story of KSIA, however, started about 100 years ago. At that time Kasia’s great-grandfather produced leather goods and suitcases near the city of Leipzig in Germany. Kasia continues this legacy.
All products are exclusively made with organically tanned leather and eco-friendly fabrics from Germany. The collection is handmade in Berlin. KSIA uses no liquid adhesives and only green electricity during construction. The KSIA collection is characterized by clean and elegant designs. Designer Anne Gorke focuses on the creation of her fashion. VILDE SVANER does not produce basics but modest extravagance made of organic cotton and recycled men's shirts. VILDE SVANER combines ecological and economical sustainability with esthetical ambitious fashion. Instead of producing extra summer and winter collections VILDE SVANER design timeless and easy combinations for all seasons. All materials used are purchased from German companies and consist of completely organic and fair-traded cloth. One part of the production is done by regional sewers, the remaining work processes are realized by the designers themselves, especially the dyeing of the textiles. After finishing school Anne Gorke, born in Weimar, has worked for an Italian fashion label in Italy for one and a half year, where she collected qualifications and experience in fashion matters. After that she has been studying media theories and marketing in Weimar.

During Fashion Week 2009 we carried out a guerrilla marketing campaign for our client MADE-BY, in order to give Berlin’s citizen an understanding of the benefits of fair textile production.
MADE-BY is a non-profit organisation. It is an initiative of Solidaridad, the pioneer of Fair Trade, and was founded in Netherlands in 2004.
Since 2008, MADE-BY supports German fashion brands in improving the social and ecologic aspects of their production chain. The idea is to make the supply and production chain transparent for consumers. With the MADE-BY code in the garment, one can use the online "Track&Trace" system, find out where the garment was made and by whom and that way ensure the sustainable production of it.
MADE-BY clients are for example the labels Kuyichi, Edun, Imps + Elfs and many more. During fashion week and around the Bebelplatz and other interesting locations, the mobile button-team gave away little MADE-BY sewing sets with the blue button. In the future, the blue button shall be the distinct sign for social and environmentally friendly clothing.

Since 2006, we have been in charge of the strategic shift of the traditional cosmetics brand Dr.Hauschka, to the fashion world. The result of the first important cooperation: a premium cosmetics bag with the fashion label Kaviar gauche from Berlin.
Together with our client Dr.Hauschka we hosted a pitch for a fashion accessory in 2007.
Renowed designers like Sabrina Dehoff or the New Yorker label Corell participated. In November 2007, after a goal-orientated selection and many conversations, the decision was made and the Dr.Hauschka cosmetics bag came on the market. The prestigious fashion label Kaviar gauche from Berlin bag had designed the bag. The cream-coloured bag combines the advantages of both brands, it is eco-friendly, close to nature and skin-friendly, elegant, casual and changeable at the same time.
The net proceeds from the sale of the Dr.Hauschka cosmetics bag went into the "Rosenprojekt", a project of the German famine relief in Afghanistan. The bag was limited to 400 exemplars and was sold in a few selected department stores.
In addition to the conception and complete realisation, we were responsible for the targeted public relations.

The NFC juice producer Melro’s Best has been our client since 2007. In addition to the continuous public relations we also advise the company in their communication strategy and develop marketing campaigns.
The product range of Melro’s Best contains four different NFC pineapple juices, produced without any additives like sugar, water or preservatives. After the harvest in Malaysia, the fruits are processed and bottled in tin plate cans. That way the juices remain enzyme-active and are more durable. Melro’s Best juices are available in the flavours pineapple, mango, guava and passion fruit. They taste pure, just as good as in exotic cocktails. The friendly family business celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2008. The development of new, exciting 100% natural products is already in process.

Since 2006 and once a year, 100 visionaries meet in Weimar to discuss topics like life, humanity, work, economic activity and creation. In August 2008 we took over the public relations and acquisition of sponsors for the third festival of thoughts.
The Weimar visionaries want to influence the next step of the development our society and culture. They understand their event as an opportunity to explore their own capability for change and to define life, humanity, work, economic activity and creation in a new and meaningful way.
The topic in 2008: “Self-encountering – forensics amongst Eastern wisdom and Western science”. More than 15 speakers illuminated the topic from different perspectives. Together with participants of workshops and discussions a link was built between the spirituality and culture of Asia on one hand, and the Western analytical thinking on the other.
Based on this, the Weimar Visions will expose the topic “How do we create reality” in 2009. Exciting speakers and lectures are already in the process of planning.

In the course of the strategic shift of our client Dr.Hauschka into the fashion world, we were responsible for the organisation and public relations of the trade fair appearances at the Bread&Butter in Berlin and Barcelona as well as the Premium in Berlin in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
The first appearance of the cosmetic brand Dr.Hauschka at a fashion trade fair was from
14th – 16th July 2006 at the Bread&Butter in Berlin.
Professional Dr.Hauschka beauticians presented and explained the product range to visitors – stressed fairgoers could get refreshed with Dr.Hauschka products. One year later at the Bread&Butter in Barcelona, we exclusively invited a selected group of journalists and celebrities to a special Dr.Hauschka treatment and created an oasis in the middle of the trade fair turmoil.
At the Premium 2008, Dr.Hauschka proved its competence in fashion once again. Together with the young eco-fashion label slowmo we have developed a designershirt made of organic cotton and kapok for the stand personnel. The shirt, that is not available in shops, fascinated visitors and journalists likewise.
